Family Support Collaborative Home Visitation (FSC)
The FSC, established in 1998 at the direction of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors, is a broad-based community collaborative inclusive of public and private stakeholders, and engages the community in prevention strategies. The FSC is responsible for the oversight, governance, and decision-making of a primary prevention initiative consisting of the following programs: Birth & Beyond, Home Visitation Coordinating Council, Nurse Family Partnership, and Child Welfare Services Redesign Community Partnership. The FSC is a community-driven, multidisciplinary collaborative, the members of which represent not only the diversity of service providers, but also the cultural, ethnic, and faith backgrounds of the communities they serve.
