The Child Abuse Research and Evaluation (CARE) Institute exists to meet the growing needs of programs, agencies, organizations, and institutions to research, evaluate, and improve child abuse prevention services in culturally-diverse communities.
The CARE Institute has three primary objectives:
-
To improve evaluation and research practices and methodologies that support child abuse prevention and related outcomes;
-
To enhance child abuse prevention services and related family support programming through research, evaluation, and continuous program improvement;
-
To disseminate research and evaluation findings in order to further develop the fields of child abuse prevention and family support, as well as to influence public policy.
